Traditions

As one of the oldest outfits in the Corps, I-1 has some of the oldest and strongest traditions on campus. In addition to participating in many campus-wide or Corps of Cadets traditions such as Aggie Muster, Silver Taps, the 12th Man, and Bonfire, Ord Ords have their own I-1 traditions, many of which were started in the early years of I-1's existence.

The song "Fraulein" is a long standing tradition in I-1 that unites all Ord Ords, past and present. Started by some of the first members of I-1 back in the 1970s, it became a reoccurring practice that continued even after the original cadets graduated from A&M.
